I'm an air quality and occupational hygiene consultant with over 20 years' experience across the public and private sectors, from district and regional councils to industry and business.
I’ve worked in air quality and occupational hygiene both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom, starting out at what was Auckland Regional Council before working in stack testing in England, and moving into air quality at the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency. I returned to New Zealand and became the first employee at Air Matters, where I worked for 17 years, setting up the Mount Maunganui office and becoming a director.
I established Atmos Environmental in 2026 as a small consultancy with a personal approach. I love the work that I do: getting to know my clients and working out what they need, and using my knowledge and experience to find the best way to achieve that for them.
I spend my spare time with family, in the water when there’s waves, and walking our dog at the beach.
Air Quality
My work spans air discharge consent applications, air quality assessments and management plans and public/Environment Court hearings.
Occupational Hygiene
I carry out health risk assessments, exposure monitoring and workplace hygiene programmes to keep workers healthy and businesses compliant.
